A Bit About Me

Well, hello there, I’m Sophie and I am in my fourth year of Communications (Journalism)/ Law.

I am drawn to journalism because I love connecting with people and telling their story, I find no matter who the person is, they always have something interesting to share.

I am currently working for 7NEWS as an Assistant Producer and Social Media Producer, so it will come as no surprise that my favourite subject so far has been Production Journalism. With that being said, I hope to one day jump in front of the camera and become a reporter as well.

When I am not at work or uni, you can find me hanging out with my friends, going to festivals and catching up on sleep.

I am so excited to put on some stellar events so we can all meet each other and get our collective feet in the metaphorical door!
